Provide training, guidance, mentoring/coaching, technical assistance, support, resources, presentations and tutorials, in general and special education, as independent contractor. Work collaboratively with families, faculty/staff, schools, child care centers, agencies and districts, including the Chicago Public Schools. Kendall College, Accelerated Programs of Study (formerly Adult Professional Studies program), Evanston, IL, 2001 – 2004

Prepared Early Childhood general and Special Education teachers and administrators. As Professor and Program Coordinator: responsible for curriculum, instruction, hiring and supervision of faculty, advisement, etc., in Early Childhood Administration and Early Childhood Leadership & Advocacy programs, on main campus and satellite campuses at University Center of Lake County. Designed curriculum and all syllabi for first Illinois Director Credential Level II Entitled Program granted by state of Illinois. Developed professional seminars and courses delivered via distance learning. Served as Clinical Supervisor of field placements in methods, student teaching, and internship courses, in Illinois Type 04 ECE certificate program, ECE non-certification program, and accelerated ECE Management programs. Redesigned ECE programs and syllabi to incorporate standards and performance-based outcomes, to meet state accreditation requirements, including Illinois Director Credential and Early Childhood Special Education approval, and taught courses in all ECE programs. Played active role in regional accreditation self-study. Chaired Program Review Panel, evaluating standards-based teacher education programs at three colleges, for the NCATE-partnered Illinois State Board of Education.
