Advising the (National Library of Medicine funded) IAIMS project at Loyola University Health System (LUHS) regarding requirements analysis for a datawarehousing project, proposal development, and project evaluation (2001-2003). Advised international law firm on knowledge management strategies. Advised Corporate Director of MIS of a mid-sized equipment manufacturer on the Strategic Use of IT against the backdrop of a new CEO and a significant update of their business strategies. Presented recommendations to Chairman, CEO and direct reports. Advised Corporate CIO and her direct reports in all business divisions of a major manufacturing company on the implementation of knowledge management within its IS group (across corporate and all business divisions). Presented at annual IS company-wide meeting. Researched methods usage at a major international consulting firm as part of ongoing evaluation of investments in knowledge management and related activities.
1997 - 2005: Assistant/Associate Professor. As part of MBA courses, guide student project teams to develop strategic IS recommendations for university departments and several local companies as "clients."
1996 - 1998: Assistant Professor. Designed a system of web pages displaying syllabus information about courses in our department. First, designed functional prototype; led a project to develop a sound technical design as well as a publishing component.
1986 - 1996: Various positions with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) mostly at World Head Quarters in Chicago and two years in Paris, France. Senior Methodologist (1994-1996), Methodologist (1992 - 1994), Manager (1990 - 1992), Senior Research Associate (1989 - 1990), Senior (1988 - 1989), Staff (1986 - 1988). Consistently received "outstanding" annual performance reviews. In recent years, was conceptual leader of multi-year program that re-engineered Andersen Consulting's methodologies from all competency groups for its world-wide practice. In early years, consulted in AI/Knowledge Based Systems in the US and in France, and led the integration of the KADS methodology into METHOD/1 (R).
